課程概述

本課程適合未學過華語者(或學習華語時數每週未達6小時，且總時數未達100小時者)選修，使用的教材為《實用視聽華語一》(第一課~第九課)，盼學生能兼顧「聽說讀寫」四方面的語言能力，使學生生活不因語言不通而有障礙，並期望學生能透過課程進一步了解華語及台灣文化。

課程目標

1. 學會使用漢語拼音。
To learn how to use HanYu pinyin.
2. 學會漢字的結構、筆順及寫法。
To learn the structures and stroke orders of Chinese characters and be able to write.
3. 了解華語基本句型及語序、架構。
To know basic Chinese grammars.
4. 學會如何得體使用華語認識他人及介紹自我。
To learn how to do self-introduction and communicate with others in correct Chinese.

課程要求

1. 準時上課，不要遲到早退。遲到二十分鐘，視同缺課。
Attend the class on time. The student is taken as absent if he/she is 20 minutes late for the class.
2. 課堂中請說中文。
Only “Chinese” in class.
3. 預習和複習上課內容。
Preview and review.
4. 作業不可遲交。
No longer acceptation after deadline.
5. 考試不可作弊。
No cheating in quizzes or exam.
6. 除非有特別要求，否則所有的功課和考試都必須寫中國字。
Write Chinese characters in homework and test.
7. 如果需要請假，請兩天前告知講師。（病假例外）
If students need to take a day off, please tell the instructor two days before. Except for sick leave.
8. 課堂中請勿抽菸、喝酒和吃東西。
No alcohol, No smoking and No food in class, allowed drinking.
9. 課堂中請勿使用手機和電子產品。(也請勿放在桌上)。
No cell phones and No electronics: iPods, CD players, radios, PSP, etc. (Do not put them on the desk.)
10. 上課專心聽講，勿聊天談話。
Listen attentively to the teacher in the class, no chatting in class.
11. 尊重同學的發言權和受教權。
Respect classmates’ right to speak and the right of learning.
12. 缺席超過三分之一可能成績會不及格。
Attendance is very important, students might be failed when you miss more than one third of total class in a term.

3.	小考 Quiz & Test	20%	＊每課有生字聽寫小考和單元小考。 Every Lesson we have vocabulary quiz (listen and write) and chapter test. ＊如果錯過小考，零分。 If students miss quizzes, no grade.
4.	作業與報告 Homework & presentation	15%	＊作業準時繳交，遲交不收。 Submit it on time. Late homework will not be accepted.
5.	課堂參與 Attendance & participation	15%	*基本分數為60分，每次來上課加一分，缺課扣一分。 Each student has 60 points about your attendance, perfect attendance you might get 100 points. You will get 1 point when you come to this course, and you will lose 1 point when you miss this course. You could tell teacher by email in advance, you won’t lose 1point.
